British soprano Emma Warner recently completed her Master’s degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin, where she studied with Caitlin Hulcup, Sebastian Störmer and Helen Collyer.
Emma’s recent engagements include the role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni at UNI.T, Berlin (2025) and the Female Chorus in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia at Max-Taut-Aula, Berlin (2024)
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, Emma made her role debut as The Lawyer in the premiere of William Gardner’s The Prisoner at the Susie Sainsbury Theatre, later reprising the role at the Britten Theatre in (2024). She is looking forward to singing in William Gardner’s next opera Eden 2.0 at Grimeborn Festival at the Arcola Theatre, London in July 2026.
Her professional career began as a young singer at the Théâtre du Capitole, where she performed the role of Cis in the Royal Opera House’s touring production of Britten’s Albert Herring. She subsequently sang Flora in The Turn of the Screw at Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Opernhaus Zürich during the 2014–16 seasons.
In concert, Emma has appeared in numerous Liederabends and premiered To Kiss Your Secrets, a new song cycle by British composer Archie John, in the Joseph-Joachim Konzertsaal at UdK with pianist stefanpaul (2025).
Beyond the classical stage, she collaborates with artists in the electronic music scene and features on London-based producer and DJ felicita’s album Spalarkle (2023).
